A Church Where Old-Time Worship Is Not A Thing of The Past.
The Plan of Salvation
1. REALIZE - that you are a sinner...
Romans 3:23, "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God."
Romans 3:10, "As it is written, There is none righteous, no not one."
2. RECOGNIZE - that Jesus died, was buried, and rose again for your sins...
1 Corinthians 15:3-4, "For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures; And that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures."
Romans 4:25, Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.
3. REPENT - of your sins...
Luke 13:3, "I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish."
4. RECEIVE - the GIFT of Eternal Life...
John 1:12-13, "But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God."
NOW YOU MUST ANSWER THIS QUESTION!!!
If you were to die today, do you have the complete assurance you would go to Heaven?
2 Timothy 3:15b, "...the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus."
John 6:44, "No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day."
However, John 6:37 states, "All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out." You must be drawn in conviction then respond in repentance.
As one young lady put it: "I wasn´t planning on getting saved that night! Yet the saving power of God went forth and granted unto me the gift of faith and repentance; therefore, thru unmerited Grace, He saved my wretched soul."
Trusting Christ is more than mentally recognizing Him as the Son of God or having an emotional experience. You must receive Him as your Lord and Saviour by faith.
John 1:12, "But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name."
CHRIST'S INVITATION:
Revelation 3:20, "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear My voice, and open the door, I will come in to him."
CHRIST´S PROMISE:
Romans 10:13, "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."
NOW WE PRAY YOU HAVE SETTLED THIS QUESTION FOREVER AND TRUST YOU WILL GROW SPIRITUALLY.
1. Tell others what Christ did for you.
Mark 5:19b, "...Go home to thy friends, and tell them how great things the Lord hath done for thee, and hath had compassion on thee.
Acts 1:8, "But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth."
2. Be Baptized.
Baptism identifies you with Christ. Acts 8:36-38 says, "And as they went on their way, they came unto a certain water: and the eunuch said, See, here is water; what doth hinder me to be baptized? And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. And he commanded the chariot to stand still: and they went down both into the water, both Philip and the eunuch; and he baptized him."
Biblical Baptisim is total immersion in water, signifying death, burial and ressurection. Biblical Baptisim is not being sprinkled with water or having water poured over your head.
3. Study the Bible.
The Bible will reveal God's plan for your life.
2 Timothy 2:15, "Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth."
2 Peter 3:18, "But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever A-men."
4. Attend your local Church and support it with your prayer and offerings.
Participate in the worship services and Christian fellowship.
Hebrews 10:25, "Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching."
1 Corinthians 16:1-2, "Now concerning the collection for the saints, as I have given order to the churches of Galatia, even so do ye. Upon the first day of the week let every one of you lay by him in store, as God hath prospered him, that there be no gatherings when I come."
Malachi 3:10, "Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it."
